It is popularly known as fruit salad plant (or Adam’s rib in Spanish) but its scientific name is Monstera deliciosa. Sure that you have seen in countless magazines and blogs since has become the hipster plant of the season. I have mine in the living room from two years ago and have not stopped growing.

Tips: tolerates dry conditions so, irrigate moderately (the eternal advice, when the soil is dry, time to water). Special attention in winter, it doesn’t like dry heat. It’s better to have it in cool rooms.

 

Se la conoce popularmente como costilla de Adán pero su nombre científico es Monstera deliciosa. Seguro que la habréis visto en infinidad de revistas y blogs ya que se ha convertido en la planta hipster de la temporada. Yo tengo la mía en el salón desde hace un año y no han parado de salirle hojas.

Tips: tolera bien ambientes secos, así que riegos moderados (el eterno consejo, cuando la tierra esté seca, toca regar). Especial atención en invierno, no le gusta el calor seco. Mejor tenerla en habitaciones frescas.
